    3) he often times includes weight provisions in his contract as well, limiting his opponent

How can anyone really say that is taking risks?

Fury just took a much bigger risk in facing Wilder twice...Usyk facing all those guys on the road...Mikey Garcia facing Spence...Yarde or Chilemba facing Kovalev in Russia
    1) Like who? GGG? of yeah such a feather fisted guy. Kovalev (74% KO ratio), Jacobs (83% KO ratio)? Fuck outta here. What feather fisted opponent are you talking about?

    2) Canelo facing everyone in Vegas, you know, NOT in his home country. It was OK for Mayweather, but now that Canelo is doing it, it's a problem?

    3) FALSE. Who has he had weight limit provisions for? Only Jacobs, who didn't even stipulate the weight provision, it was the IBF who mandated the weight clause for Jacobs, like they did in his fight prior to Canelo.

Fury/Wilder was the No.1/No.2 HWs fighting was the same as Canelo/GGG, the No.1/No.2 MWs fighting. Plus he did that at 154 twice already with Mayweather and Lara.

Usyk? Lol It's easy to fight and beat bums on road. Plus, Canelo is constantly fighting on the road, since Vegas IS NOT HIS HOME TOWN.

You seriously complaining about Saunders? What other 168 was out there? Smith priced himself out, Benavidez fights for PBC and Plant is a pussy that didn't want any.

Saunders is a legitimate champ and it's a unification fight. Stop crying.

One thing you can never question about Saul Alvarez is his willingness to fight good fighters. He's fought them, that's not the problem. It's the people judging those fights that make up the majority of the criticism and hate.

        1) yes those 3 guys were good fighters and good punchers...no one is saying Canelo is a bum...but he knew he could go 12 rounds with them, and that is why imo he took the fight...we don't see him fighting Beterbiev right now, for example, because it is too risky...that would be a real risk.

        2) yes Vegas is his adopted hometown...just as it was for Floyd...come on man, we know this

        3) Fielding, Kovalev, Jacobs, Canelo weight...etc

Honestly a better fight for Canelo at this time would have been the GGG trilogy...that is still the most in demand fight for him, so in lieu of taking a big 'risk', the best thing fighters can do is to give fans what they want.

Examples of taking 'risk' right now would be to fight any of those names around 160-168 in a neutral site or away...or even a guy at 175, which would be a big risk.

Fighting Bivol right now would be a risk...Beterbiev a big risk.
