If it is at all close in Vegas, it goes to Canelo...he is a great fighter but he isn't taking risks...Saunders can't KO him and at worst it is a close fight with Saunders getting the better of Canelo, but Canelo will get the nod.

Canelo is great and I don't hate on him for making money, but to sell him as really taking risks is disingenuous.
When was the last time Floyd fought outside the US or Oscar?

Last time Manny fought outside the US and Asia he got fuccked over big time in Australia.

Canelo could out box Saunders 117-111 clearly and get screwed in the UK.

    Goes both ways bud.

I thought Manny lost to Horn or was 7-5...could argue Horn got too rough but I think it was fine...Manny certainly didn't put on some boxing clinic vs Horn.

And again I don't blame Canelo for doing what he is doing...but it isn't really taking risks...

Canelo can and will do what he wants when he wants but Canelo always eventually give the fans the fights they want...he just does them when he feels like doing them and yeah he will have Demands and of course he will look for an edge.

Canelo fans stop with the sensitive sh#t people, some of you did the same to Mayweather and now when people have all these Demands and high expectations for Canelo you have fans crying about how wrong it is. No it comes with the territory for the Faces of Boxing so yeah strap yourself in for a long ride. After he destroys BJS, I think he gives DAZN what they want and do the GGG fight but GGG will be asked to come to 168 and Fans will complain about that . If he takes care of BJS and GGG people will ask for him to fight Caleb Plant and/or David Benavidez so like Mayweather, it is never going to stop and for some people it is nothing he can do to satisfy them!

I like GGG but if Canelo wants it at 168 he should do it...especially if DAZN wants it there.

Canelo as you said, will always call some shots so just going to 168 should be a minor inconvenience if that's all he has to do.

Just sell it as what it is...another good fighter Canelo is facing, but the odds are shaded heavily in his favor because of the venue.
nobody is upset, just pointing out the irony, lol...

I think the only one who comes close at the moment is Loma. Still Canelo is the number one in this regard.

I agree. But nel o still taking calculated risks still though. He fought Ggg when he felt ready, no sooner, no later. He fought worn.kovalevs. He fighting bjs after bad run of not great performances.
But id say this is still better than what Crawford doing

? I'm not on here saying GGG is taking all these huge risks...I think he is a great fighter, as I feel Canelo is a great fighter...and to be fair to GGG, he fought Canelo twice in his backyard...Jacobs in Jacobs' hometown (although in many ways GGG is an adopted US guy just as Pac-man is).

Some guys have a hometown fight or two sprinkled in...but when nearly every fight of yours is in your backyard, on your terms/weight etc, I mean how can anyone say that is risk-taking...it is risk-limiting.

Canelo is just a sacred cow for some and they will defend anything and everything he does...great fighter imo, but no he is not really taking risks...when you are the Mega A-side like he is, you just don't really have to.

                      1) Canelo will never fight someone unless he can go 12 rounds with them

                      2) he will never fight someone anywhere but Vegas...where if it goes 12 rounds he will almost always get a W or at worst a draw

                      3) he often times includes weight provisions in his contract as well, limiting his opponent

How can anyone really say that is taking risks?

Fury just took a much bigger risk in facing Wilder twice...Usyk facing all those guys on the road...Mikey Garcia facing Spence...Yarde or Chilemba facing Kovalev in Russia
