Way too early. It would feel closer to watching the final bout in The Karate Kid than it would to a super fight.

Good fight would be better if they had belts though

So all fights between good young fighters are now "superfights"?

        Lol okay then...

Any fighter in the top 15 at HW is world class but let’s be honest Chisora is a beatable tough fight for the top 10. Parker is also decent but would have never picked up a strap in another part of the world. If AJ wasn’t so risk adverse in that fight he could have knocked him out. even though they are clearly top 10/15 guys I'll allow for your whining, they're still 50/50 fights for Whyte a good earner/star for Hearn and don't just ignore all the other examples debunking your bitterness. Lol...Hey bro you are the one with the emotional internet outbursts. I am simply saying either Whyte is designed to get this win or this is good fight. If this is a good fight, given where Povetkin is in his career what are you saying about Whyte? If Wilder, Fury, Ortiz were to say that their next fight was Povetkin what would you be saying? You would saying they are cherry picking and fighting AJ’s leftovers. Not one of you would be betting on Povetkin to win. So is Whyte going to storm through Povetkin or is this a pickem fight? Can’t have it both ways.

Carry on rating Luis Ortiz though the never-has-been/never going to be in both amateur or Pro unlike Povetkin.
Tell you what, put Luis in with him and I know you wouldn’t bet your house on Povetkin.

You guys just talk hoping the fight is never made. We want the fights to get made to demonstrate y’all are on some BS.

**** resume, if Whyte and Povetkin are the monsters you claim put them to be put them in with Ortiz.

Somehow guys like you will approve every other so called easy fight with a tomato can, but as soon as get to “proclaimed easy fights,” like Ortiz you all of a sudden don’t want to see it. Stop bro you are as clear as glass. Nobody is fooled by this BS.

Teo is being rushed as well because he struggles to make 135 so it's now or never to fight Loma before he has to fight at 140. Ryan just got to 135 has no rush makes weight easy he will be at 135 for a couple years. By the time he has to move up to 140 who knows if Haney is at 147 by then. lol This fight happens years from now probably at 147 when both are stars and it's a real super fight or best case 2-3 years from now at 140. In the meantime all the big name fighters at 135 and 140 are on other networks bad for Haney.
Haney is thirsty for Fighters because he hasn't fought anyone holding that paper WBC title. Golden Boy is moving Ryan Garcia at the right pace fighting good named Fighters. Haney and Teo will both be at 140 before years end and Tank Davis will continue to fight blown up featherweights.

Eddie Hearn needs to stop riding the coattails of Golden Boy fighters.

I think Hearn is speaking as a promoter and a such there is lots of hype currently around Haney/Garcia. If they fight now, they can both generate big money NOW. If either of them lose in the next two years without fighting each other, that money is gone for the present.

It is simply a matter of capitalising on the buzz and opportunity now. Neither of the fighters will lose anything as they are young enough to come back and do it again or even make it a trilogy if there is enough interest.

Why shouldn't these young guys pick up 5-10 million now and then do it again in a couple of years instead of waiting for years, running the risk that someone bombs out and never cashing in or only cashing out once.

If it happens, I have Haney winning this rather easy but why would GB do this?

I agree, people getting all twisted about a promoter calling this a super fight, a promoter hyping a fight, I know unbelievable, but seem to be missing the forest for the trees.

Who doesn't want to see this fight or thinks its a bad match up? Its a good fight so why not make it, isn't that what everyone says they want?

Sometimes it seems Hearn is the only one making offers these days, be it Charlo, Ruiz, Tank, or 50/50 ones which do get made like Jojo Diaz, Jose Ramirez etc.

If you dislike Hearn's personality is fair enough, but more than any other promoter he seems to be actually making decent offers.
