Whyte isn’t a champion so he’s not even discussing himself . If we’re discussing why a fighter didn’t want to fight for a fraction of what the other guy gets then you don’t know why you’re discussing this at all because the money was the issue not the place . If they won the purse bids and had the fight in the U.K the fight wasn’t big enough to make up for the amount needed to win it so Hearn loses money on that fight . Thats 3 things you got wrong .

“To be a great champ” So yeah you are wrong. Let me stop you right there..Again someone that wants to be a great champion, should be able to fight anywhere (According to Whyte.)..... So like I said previously (Bulgaria).Comment

If Whyte was a champion the purse splits don’t remain why he didn’t take the Pulev fight. The champion in purse splits don’t get 25% . No you aren’t right .
Maybe you just don’t understand this as the reason ?
Per the results of the bid, its a 75/25% split with Pulev earning $1,125,083.25 and Whyte earning $375,027.75.
So you’re saying Whyte uncomfortable in Bulgaria and money has nothing to do with it ,that’s why he fought Parker in a big PPV making 5 times the amount shown above ? So according to you Whyte needed to fight Pulev in a less lucrative offer to prove he’s not uncomfortable knowing the splits are insane compared to his own headline PPV ? Sorry but that’s just crap, poopy dook because that has nothing to do with being a world champion it has to do with profits .Last edited by Stuart Chandler; 03-07-2020, 10:39 AM.Comment

I couldn’t care less about the money even though you thought Whyte was getting 20%. Again “You have to be comfortable fighting anywhere” well he had his chance with Pulev and he didn’t go ahead with it... Those are the facts. I understood the fact that he took on Parker later for more money, but that doesn’t erase those previous facts. If Whyte was a champion the purse splits don’t remain why he didn’t take the Pulev fight. The champion in purse splits don’t get 25% . No you aren’t right .

It wasn't fighting in Bulgaria that was the uncomfortable situation with Whyte. It was the fact that he would have only got 25% of the purse when he was the money maker. That would make any fighter uncomfortable.
And going by your logic of ducking a fighter when there is a higher ranking fighter with a lot more money on the table instead, then every fighter in history has ducked numerous times. So why make a point of it with Whyte when it happens with every fighter? What next, you're going to make a point that Whyte has arms and ears? That would just be a waste of time.
