Pulev would have got 75% of the money even though Whyte was the money maker of the two. Whyte would have had to travel and take a pay cut. Instead he took on a higher ranking fighter in Parker for more money at home.

Some of the freaks on this thread are just doing their usual creepy weirdo shlt and spewing hate as per. But you should know better. Please get your facts straight before making those kind of comments. That's all I ask. An honest fan shouldn't be making comments that filth usually make that aren't even true or fair to the situation at hand.

Yeah, but as the money maker, Whyte would have only got 25% of the money, with Pulev getting the other 75%. So Whyte would have had to take a pay cut and travel as well. Only a moron would consider that to be a good direction to go. So well done.

He instead took on the higher ranking Parker which was the better fight for more money at home. But with you being a Kiwi, I think I've found your problem there.

You need to calm down and chill, those things that is stated about Whyte are facts. Doesn't matter how you choose to look at it.

Am not here questioning his resume or why he didn't fight Pulev, I can write a book on it and sell it to you.

For me, he is here talking about anyone should be comfortable fighting anywhere. Thats why am calling him out in regards to the Pulev situation.

Nothing more, Nothing less. Some times people need to be able to take facts as fact and not facts as hate or criticism.

Yeah but the other poster is saying it's not because he wasn't comfortable fighting in Bulgaria but because it was a bum deal, especially when you got Parker lining up for a big money fight in the UK.

It's an opinion to say whether you thought he was comfortable or not and not a fact like you stated (unless Whyte expliciltly said otherwise), no offense intended.

None taken, I understand all of the fact that he fought a better fighter in Parker for more money. That doesn’t change the fact that he didn’t take the Pulev fight in another country. When the purse bid finished. The Parker option was later on, which is cool and all.

Am not arguing those facts, just like people shouldn’t try and bat me away for calling him out on the “Fight anywhere thing” fact is he didn’t like the deal to fight in Bulgaria and he looked somewhere else (Yes better fight, better payday).

Sorry, my mistake. I won't make it again.

Not a single sane fighter would take a pay cut to travel when you can fight a higher ranking fighter at home for more money. To think otherwise, is irrational. That's a fact. Not the grotesque opinion you came out with.

The split was 80/20 in favor of Pulev I believe, no fighter is going to approach that when he’s already in line for a title shot .

Firstly am not here talking about split, secondly you are wrong the split wasn’t 80% to Pulev, and finally he didn’t feel comfortable fighting anywhere. When you come out with a statement like “A great champ has to feel comfortable fighting anywhere” then you leave yourself open for comebacks.

It’s a grey area, of course a champ would fight anywhere if offered 100m for a bum, would the same thing apply if he gets offered peanuts for a tough fight? Nope.... So the fact was Whyte didn’t feel comfortable fighting in Bulgaria.
