When 2 fighters have a Leonard vs Hearns type battle in their prime, they both come out winners.

It wasn’t a humiliating loss at all. Prograis still looked sharp and heavy handed, and will be exciting to watch against anyone.

It was a fight prograis needed in my opinion, and he will have learned a lot from it and be a better fighter. I thought Taylor won, but my money would be on Prograis in any rematch as Prograis seems to be keeping it real while Taylor has been going the nightclub/******* route and I suspect might lose a step.

Fight was 6-6 imo. Anybody giving it to Taylor by more than 2 rounds is crazy.

As a fan of Regis I'd like to see him fight Hooker, then Baranchyk (Aug) and Postol (Dec) in 2020. If you include Indongo, Flanagan and Relikh he'd have cleared the division except for Taylor and Ramirez. Fight that winner in 2021!

Yeah really refreshing to see some boxers still think like this

Scored it a dead draw. It was a 7-5 either way scenario and the kind of showing that elevates the profile of both parties more or less equally despite the result. Prograis seems to be one of the good ones. "Regis Progress" haha

                That's an interesting prediction.
I had the Taylor fight VERY close but, on reflection, I agree that Prograis didn't appear to really "let it all hang out". If he had, and not let it look like he was getting outworked, he might gave had the close decision going his way.
You don't think he'll have learned from that?

they rarely learn from the experience. it's always interesting how fighters make the same personal/psychological mistakes throughout their career regardless whether they have experiences where they should have learned to do differently. for example, i saw ugas taunting and dancing around the ring in the final rounds with shawn porter even though he knows he gotten b-side decision losses before. I saw Tony Harrison talking trash and joking around, and being slow to defense, right before Charlo KOed him. After he said, I should have known better. This has happened before.
