        I'm reading some boxers and others saying that Wilder quit mentally after he got dropped in the 3rd round. They were saying that physically he was there but that he mentally checked out after that 3rd round knockdown.

          Don't agree. I think his brain and body weren't talking. He was just going through the motions.

          He should get checked - brain scan. Even now and on at least a monthly basis. We don't need another Gerald McClellan incident.

            He never quit. He fought to the end. If he had quit there would have been no need for his trainer to throw in the towel. A boxer can quit at any time just by telling the ref I quit. Wilder never did that. That photo is not proof that he quit because he did not quit.
