The only reason the Wildettes ignore the fact that Ruiz said all throughout camp that he was adding weight to look for the knockout is because Wilder fought a genuinely out of shape Fury in the first fight and got embarrassed lol they love to try and validate Wilder’s blatantly obvious shortcomings by trying to compare them to instances of AJs fights.

Wilder can't throw more than 1-2 and clams up when he comes under fire, probably so he can plan his excuses.
Wilder didn’t clam up against fury. He tried to fight back he just wasn’t effective. He definitely needs to learn to fight better on the inside but he’s not shy about exchanging with guys. In my opinion Wilder’s loss makes the AJ fight more interesting than ever. I still favor wilder but I’m slightly less confident about that. The heavyweight division looks awesome right now.

        I hope you're joking:

Andy Ruiz insists there’s fat chance of him ever again entering the ring in anything other than proper fighting shape.

It was a harsh lesson dealt to the history-making heavyweight, who ate his way out of an all-too brief title reign in a decisive 12-round loss to Anthony Joshua in their rematch last December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. California’s Ruiz showed up at a grossly out-of-shape 283½ pounds, more than 15 pounds heavier than in his 7th round knockout win over England’s Joshua (23-1, 21KOs) just six months prior.

“My last fight I was 280-something pounds. I was overweight,” Ruiz (33-2, 22KOs) admitted to Fox Sports’ Kate Abdo during a recent edition of Inside PBC Boxing. “I couldn't cut off the ring, I couldn't throw combinations.”

The poor choices made in between fights resulted in Ruiz’s run as the first-ever Mexican boxer to win a heavyweight title reduced to that as a one-hit wonder—at least for now. It also caused a rift with veteran trainer Manny Robles, with whom he split shortly after the rematch.

Ruiz’s weight for the Joshua rematch was the heaviest he’d been since his first three months in the pro ranks, when he weighed 297 ½ pounds in his March 2009 debut and then 292 ½ for his second fight later that June.

That's exactly what Joshua DID NOT do with Ruiz! He was extra careful, and very fortunate that Ruiz came in totally out of shape!
Ruiz always had slow feet so whether he was in tip top shape that was the game plan. Does that game plan send shivers to the rest of the division? Absolutely not but with his shot confidence t the time it was the only game plan that would work against Ruiz at the time.

Hearn should keep his mouth shut but seeing Wilder last Saturday why wouldn’t Joshua be confident he could do a number on Wilder. He is not as elusive as Fury but if he adopts the same tactics that Fury used it could be even more Brutal.however , no point getting high over another boxers victory. Admittedly Wilder has a much tougher task than AJ had avenging his belts

Overweight but somehow never gassed in the fight. LMAO. You must think you're talking to an idiot who has never boxed before.

Before the fight, he was claiming he weighed extra for power. Then after getting shut out, he miraculously became overweight.

Hunter was in training camp with Ruiz as his primary sparring partner and he said Ruiz is a liar and the guy trained well for the fight. I guess you know more than Hunter then.

He does espcially when hurt, look at when Ortiz had him hurt, Fury 1 - 12th round, and most of the Fury rematch he just waiting for his chance.

Wilders a sniper waiting for the right shot, he's never in a gunfight trading shot for shot the skills for that aren't in his arsenal you'd see that if you ever watched him work the pads with Deas. It's almost as funny as that Stephen guy from ESPN.

Don't mind the plebs. Ruiz was running his mouth that Josh is a robot who can't box. And he and his team decided to put on more weight for power, whist maintaining his conditioning. He thought Josh would gas out in the mid rds and he would be able to capitalise and knock him out. But it never happened and he got beat.

This guy usually gasses from like rd 4 in every fight throughout his career and he has a propensity to take mid-rds off. However, in the fight they claimed he's overweight - he miraculously didn't gas out for 12 rds. LMAO. How's that possible? These people are clowns.

The overweight claim is just as ridiculous as Wilder's excuses. I don't know why these idiots are sore losers. When you get beat, take it like a man and move on.

Everyone forgets AJ's has taken a big left hook from Whyte and a couple massive rights from Wlad and made it through ok. Both considered bigger punchers/punches than what Ruiz has.

Ruiz just hit AJ with the right shot.

Funny how the same people who think Wilder and Fury have great chins are the same ones who call AJ chinny.

Both Wilder and Fury have been dropped by journeymen on multiple occasions. Something that has never happened to Josh. And Wilder's legs just went jelly by a stiff jab and he got knocked down by a rabbit punch that didn't connect properly and a simple body shot. LMAO.

Most of these guys are just idiots.

Dumb bellend. If Ruiz left hook had landed on Wilder's temple, he'd still be in the hospital right now. The bum got knocked down by a rabbit punch and simple body shot. And his legs went jelly after a stiff jab. LMAO.
Uh? Wilder does has a better chin than Joshua. I like Joshua but he's been down to Whyte, Price, Wlad, Ruiz and whoever else put him down in the amateurs. He must be a good boxer though to have got so far with that dodgy chin of his
