Mikey is being pushed for big money fights at this point. Dude could probably sit at 140 and milk it. Guys like Spence would rather just sit at 147 and fight once a year rather than move up for bigger fights and challenges.
So just imagine what the GOAT Pacquiao would do in his prime if he stayed at like 135 for his entire career. Dude started at 105 and would have been undefeated 135 forever.
Spence = 30 years old and hasn't moved up any divisions
Crawford = 32 years old and moved up two divisions

Mayweather: GGG (when GGG was 30) has to move up weight divisions and challenge himself

This is one article where there is actually some knowledge based comments that make sense. Rather than haters saying ****** ****. So I'll add a lil wisdom...... Mikey was taking some shots from Vargas. But Vargas is much much larger than Mikey is. And Vargas is longer than Pac. So comparing "Mikey got hit by Vargas" is not a valid comparison. However, Pac will land a lot of punches. As a commenter said on another thread, Mikey can be outworked. He'll sit all night and eat punch after punch, waiting to land his money shots. He can't do that against Pac or it will be an ugly night! But Mikey's chin has proven to be granite! Not just "good". And despite what people think about Mikey moving up, he's heavy handed. I see this as a Pac decision or a Mikey KO. If a Mikey KO actually happened, the gravity of that moment would be like no other!

What does this even mean?! Are you speaking as if Manny SHOULD lose to Mikey? That's a comment I've never heard before.

I like that fight a lot too. However, Eddie Hearn can forget about ever promoting it on DAZN because Mikey has returned back to the PBC. His business relationship with Eddie Hearn and John Skipper has now dissolved. It was a one and done deal.

i think pac speed and output would definitely give pac the edge in the match up. ive noticed that when mikey was fighting at 130 , 135 he was boxing way more defensive, dont get me wrong he had a decent output but was more cautious. he had good power and did get the ko's. at 147 his movement has slowed a bit to sit down on his punches a bit more so he is getting countered and hit more often.

If he was on Pacquiaos level he would have beaten Spence. Pac beat all the best welters of his day and is still doing it at 41
