That Rhonda situation is what made me say that. Deontay and Floyd had words prior. Deontay showed Floyd respect at the Spence/porter fight but floyd never publicly came out and supported Deontay after that until he lost lol.

I don't know how much Wilder would be willing to change his style once he knows he'd come off looking like he'd be mimicking Floyds. Rugged individualism is the name of the game in this sport, no one wants to look anything like someone else - kinda like the rap game with bitin' styles - Sucker MC's.

I can't imagine Wilder tucking his chin doing the shoulder roll. And I can't see him using the whole ring to set up his offense. If anything Floyd Sr. could teach him a few tricks.... Boxers don't own rights to "styles" - they're "allowed" to pick here & choose there (from past & present contemporaries) to be most effective....this is a dangerous game, so shifting the makeup of personal "style" is a way to preserve your dignity AND life.
