Well, his skills have been stagnant under Breland and Jay Deas. I've been saying for years he should switch things up. That said i'm not sure if Floyd would be a great trainer, great fighters don't necessarily make great trainers.

The difference in style make no difference though, Floyd is so knowledgeable about boxing he understands other styles besides his own. And he is just plain smart enough to know trying to turn Wilder into a HW version of himself at any stage, let alone this stage would be moronic.

It would be breaking down the style and skills of Fury. Helping Wilder set him up without going out of his own style. Maybe adding a trick here or there to Wilder's game but that's it. It's never too late to learn.

Either way I think he needs to do something because the bottom line is that his trainers and corner crew didn't have him prepared for plan B or C as shyt went south for him after the 3rd.

That is so true, cant believe his camp has had that attitude all along, “if its not broken dont fix it.” I mean come on, how long were they gonna rely on that? Reminds me of jeff lacy back in the day gettin exposed by joe calzaghe, and lacy had way more boxing fundamentals than deontay relatively smh. He wastes so much energy with the wild swinging too. I really do believe he needs to go to kronk, he be just another fighter forced into the grueling training, no diva stuff tolerated lol. Look how they transformed wlad to reign for so long after he got exposed/kod back in the day.

Didnt Floyd and Wilder have beef? Knowing Wilder i doubt he would accept Floyd's help.

But Wilder does need to change somthing him taking the immediate rematch has put himself in a must win situation!

Floyd should be able to help as he was often the smaller guy in the ring but was seldom hurt. I just wonder how much can be effectively changed in only one training camp.

One way beef. Floyd's never said anything about Wilder. Wilder's upset that Floyd never acknowledged or supported him. The question is, does Wilder hold those same feelings towards every other legend or current boxer that doesn't feel any kind of way about him? If it's only for Mayweather...that's...weird.

Truth right here. Floyd probably laughing with his homies at home too.. now he’s the hero again.. he also said the same thing when rhonda rousey lost lmao.
He has a beef with both of them rhonda and wilder, and he’s making them feel silly.. while appearing to offer some help.. it’s fake compassion for sure but it’s killin both rhona and wilder making them appear a whole lot lesser fighters to him.. imagine if steph curry offers lebron a free throw shooting lesson.

If Floyd can teach Deontay the shoulder roll and the check hook Fury would have no chance.

That's the way I saw it as well.

Props to Fury and Ruiz for making that happen.
I agree Wilder was constantly hit and stunned not just the knock down, as aside from a couple of early big rights that half caught Fury, that was it. He had nothing, I think he spent the whole fight trying to recover, but never got the chance. He had no energy unlike the first fight where he threw loads of bombs and was still going strong in the 12th. This time Fury never let him recover when he hit him and kept coming forward.

Wilder needs to jab more and move to the side and throw some big rights when going backwards, he has to keep Fury off him and keep him guessing. Touching with his left to measure the right, Ortiz worked that one out and tapped the left down, Fury just put his big left arm in the way to stop the bombs hitting home, too easy for him. Wilder has to try something different...or he will lose again.
