The reality is Canelo can't fight all of the suggested opponents at the very next fight. He has 8 fights, give or take, on his contract with DAZN. He will fight most of the guys mentioned before his contract expires, provided that they will agree to fight him. Remember GB has made offers to Charlo, Plant and others who have taken a pass. I am a bit surprised that when these fighters turn the fight down, people point fingers at Canelo forgetting it is GB who pays the opponent, not Canelo. Canelo's money comes directly from DAZN. The one I would like to see Canelo fight next is Andrade. I think that would present serious problems. It would probably be a boring fight, but in my opinion that poses more risk for Canelo than the others.

Of course Fishnets would say that.

They wanted to catch Plant off guard like they did Kovalev.

        That's just some hoe shxt.

Why not fight him in Sept, if you want the fight?

Why not contact Haymon instead of some secondary guy?

nobody expects him to fight all of the suggested opponents now, but it would be nice if he actually selected someone who didn't fit the categories of what I mentioned previously which include 35 and older, coming off of a poor performance or a C level opponent. As for Charlo and plant, they are both advised by Haymon, nobody else makes decisions for pbc other than Haymon and from what's being reported, Oscar /golden boy never sent Haymon any offers. So Oscar likes to use that little Coke head strategy of telling half truths but leaving out very key aspects. Notice he never says Haymon, he says something like, someone from their team. Oscar is a known bulls*** artist.

I think andrade, Charlo, plant and benavidez would all be good options but right now we're already in March.
This delay in selecting an opponent will most likely mean that he's going to push back his fight date again like he did in the fall (because there isn't enough time to properly promote a big fight, or he's going to select a rocky fielding caliber type of opponent.

            Elite fighters

Are there anymore elite fighters that can fight Canelo that I don't know of, because I think Canelo has already fought the best. I don't think any of these regular champions are at Canelos level it sux because the elite fighters he fought were awesome tactical fights. He earned his spot to be able to negotiate and give them an opportunity to make big bucks for a loss.

I think Oscar is the main problem. He dropped the ball costing Canelo a title and last September did not secure a fight for September. Worse yet it looks as though Oscar is determined to fumble again. I don't know when Canelo's contract with Golden Boy expires, but it would not surprise me if Canelo ditches him and signs with someone else.
