Welcome to the internet. The bias and hypocrisy you're talking about will always be a fact of life online unless mods try to control it more, which always dicey to approach. Same problem happens with social media outlets like twitter and Facebook. It's relatively shocking how many people have so little concern for objectivity and fully embrace a subjective reality and try to impose it on others. But the internet gives a platform of speech to all of them and it's something the rest of us unfortunately have to deal with. Also unfortunate is that those subjective realities often tend to fall along the lines of race of nationality in boxing.
What's up with this forums obsession with black fighters "casual fanbase"

Imagine a white fighter came out to the ring with a white costume, followed by a country singer singing about all things white. He gets crushed. Now what? Racial stuff isn’t cool, which is why Wilders side shouldn’t have brought it up in the first place. All this behaviour you perceive to be racist from the other side is reactive, for the most part.Comment

Why do only one fanbase have channels with tens of thousands of fans spewing racial hatred though? You don't see it from other fans.Welcome to the internet. this...particulary this
Black British fans are more likely to root for nationality over race (they would root for a white british fighter over a black american fighter)
Black Americans only root for Black Americans
it is what it is like TML saidComment

That is a somewhat fair criticism, although i haven't really explored very many youtube channels to see if there are others kinds. But no doubt, there is a huge racial bias in the LDBC toward Black fighters and an Afro-centric world view overall. I have often compared it to the alt-right in politics. My guess is the ideology provided a feeling of empowerment and belonging for disaffected, mostly Black, fans and grew in to a brand that became more corrupted and profitable over time. That is usually how groups like that form and exploit people. It is definitely a problem that should be addressed and spoken out against. But at the same time i don't think it's fair to say tens of thousands of them are spewing racial hatred. I rarely see directly racist comments or epithets from the LDBC posters we all probably figure are Black. But i feel like i have seen many examples of racially demeaning comments made toward them from posters we can figure aren't Black. From comments about welfare, IQ, chicken, and so on. There may not be a huge youtube boxing community for commenters who make such comments but make no mistake, they are there and they're i think what the OP is referring to.Comment
