That seemed to set in after the duhapaus fight with Molina and Szpilka and it’s been a very bad habit ever since. Because of those bad habits I’ve noticed he had adopted even more such as pulling straight back rather than lateral head and foot movement. He looks terrible when he tries to reset. I honestly don’t think he can beat fury unless he fires his corner and brings in a new trainer who can drill the basics back into him and extremely fast. I like the idea of added weight because if not Fury will have 60-70lbs on him. But wilder has got to get back to doing hard road work, and I am talking wind sprints such as Holyfield used to do and what Caleb plant does. Wilder will HAVE to stop the bad habit of ducking in close, he will have to rediscover the left hook as a stand alone weapon in itself, and he MUST punch in combinations....not just the 1-2, but mix it up like a 1-1-3-2....4-3, etc.
In other words, wilder needs some real work and he’s going to have to open his stubborn mind.
I agree with all of the above and I'd also add to that list a stiff, powerful ramrod jab. After a good 12 years or so of being Pro plus the amateurs it's absolutely criminal that his jab is barely existent, especially when you consider the length and power in those levers.

Not only would he be able to set up the back hand far better but it would act as a weapon in itself. What he offers up now is barely enough to put you off balance. There's no excuse...

I agree wholeheartedly. He will never outweigh Fury so he might as well come in lighter so he can create and cover distance to land that right hand.

What happens if Wilder wins the 3rd fight?

Fury is out in the cold? because there is no rematch clause

The ppv isnt going to do well though, its too soon of a rematch and i dont think the networks are going to pay top dollar after barely making there money back.

And another loss to Fury essentially makes Wilder a gatekeeper.

From a commercial point of view I think significant changes are needed on Wilders side otherwise it'll be a tough sell to PPV.

You might not have to. Fury can still turn down the fight especially if no promoter is willing pony up the guaranteed money. The networks lost money last time and the interest in this fight if flat. It certainly will not do better than the first fight, will it.

Fury should demand that Wilder's promoter guarantee him 40 mil up front and see what happens
