if you don't know why that's regarded differently in boxing [clinching when you're hurt vs holding and hitting,] there's not a ton i can do for you and i'd just urge you to watch more fights at HW where guys weather storms. go back to 1970 or so and watch foreman vs ronnie lyle, ali vs kenny norton when he broke his jaw, etc. holding when you're hurt and ready to go is not the same as holding when you are not!

sheeesh, i really didn't expect you guys to be this lacking in your understanding of boxing at HW. it's like you've never seen a prizefight at HW before.
Saying because Wilder was hurt and gassing and didn’t INITIATE clinches only says how dim he is, any guy that has an actual boxing IQ knows that is what you’re supposed to do when you’re hurt or gassing LOL

You keep going on about “never seen a prizefight” and “only been watching boxing for two years”...yet you’re saying nothing that indicates a high level of boxing knowledge, you’re just saying exactly what happened, which I have yet to disagree with. Show me where I said Fury never fouled or that any of his tactics were legal or uncommon lol all I’m saying and have been saying is, you can’t moan about Fury fouling when Wilder fouled too, it’s dumb.

Guarantee nobody that is mentioning Fury’s fouls chirped up when Ward beat Froch, or the rest of the opponents he beat LOL

How about you list all the excuses of Wilder and his fanboys are using? We got costume, ref, his own corner, "tampered" gloves, PEDs am I missing anything? Seems everyday a new one rolls out. Fury outclassed Wilder end of story.

He has fought two notable people in his career and that’s Ortiz and Fury and both of them embarrassed him until his trusty right hand came to his rescue.

There is no shame losing toTyson Fury. AJ had bigger problems losing to Ruiz. However, it’s how you bounce back from a defeat that determines a man. As of now it’s not a good start. Wilder has blamed everyone but himself. It’s absolutely pathetic to be honest
I’m pretty sure that you’re not a wilder fan. But so far from reading your comments, you seems logical, not a hater or total D bag. I haven’t found a retort for any of the things you’ve said yet! Cheers!!

Cast your mind back to June 1st he was the laughing stock of the heavyweight division every man and his dog was ridiculing him and were waiting for his excuse. He just kept his mouth shut as you should and heralded his Victor . You question the integrity of an individual when you hear this much excuses..... I’m just saying. As for AJ it’s not the first time he has said something he shouldn’t have
obviously you can say that it seems more credible to make an excuse after you already won the rematch, as opposed to standing in the ring immediately after an ass whooping and say...i don't want to make excuses but I had a lot going on. And then the ridiculous costume weight excuse which may be the worst excuse in boxing history.

But I still don't commend Joshua for what he did with ruiz because he still made an excuse for the loss. Anyone who knows boxing could see that he looked fine in the ring during the 1st fight and dropped ruiz hard. He got over zealous at that moment and got caught with a punch (which he essentially called a luck punch by saying it was a punch from the heavens). After that punch he didn't recover and got pummeled. He won the rematch by not engaging much and keeping his distance. Basically fighting a safe and cautious fight. So his excuse after the rematch seems phony because his main reason for winning the rematch was the style of fight that he fought, not because he seemed to be in better health.

His logic could've been, I'm going to make the excuse now after I won the rematch because it seems more credible. Wilder chose to make his lame excuse immediately after and now if he loses the rematch, he's going to look even more like a clown. They just timed their excuses differently and Joshua waiting until after the rematch just doesn't look as bad.
