Could Mikey Garcia have been an ATG with better matchmaking?

Do you think that if Miley Garcia has fought more in his prime, had taken the right matchups, and not made the ill advised fight with Spence, that he could conceivably be a P4P champion and ATG?

Was his Spence fight I'll advised? He was never in any real danger/hurt so I'd say it depends on how much money he made.

Well Mikey Garcia left Bob Arum because Bob started to match Garcia with threats. And Garcia doesnt like that.

With a better diet perhaps. One two many weight class jumps.

fat and pudgy at 147, he should fight at 135 or 140 max.

scared to lose to loma,,,maybe he'd feel shame?

Of course. Spence was too big and too skilled. Look how chubby he looks at 147 still after a year of getting used to it.

140 should be his max weight but he likes his tacos too much probably. If it was up to him, he'd probably go to 160 to eat at all you can eat buffets more often.

You can say that about a number of fighters though. Sure, I suppose, hypothetically you can create any scenario for a fighter but I don't really see the talent. Lomachenko-Garcia could've got him a great, HOF level win, but he chose to move up and foolishly fight Spence so we'll never really know.

Halfwits do not normally become ATGs. Especially halfwits with only average speed.
