Mikey vs Pacquiao does seem to make all kinds of sense now.

I’d actually completely disagree. That performance was WAY off from fighting the elite guys at 147. He needs to be at 140.

There’s 365 days in a year. I paid for DAZN for Canelo, AJ, GGG and the other young up and coming fighters.

Youtube fights raises DAZN’s earnings = can sign more real boxers and grow their stable.

DAZN is trying to sign everyone. In order to do that, they need to offer good contracts. To offer good contracts they have be making good money, profiting.

Youtubers duking it out means profits. Profits means contract offerings to good fighters.

Look at the big picture.

There was a couple rounds after the KD where Mikey did next to nothing and probably landed 2 or 3 good shots but still got outworked

You just described the whole fight. It’s the same thing Canelo does. Throws great punches and connects, you think it’s gonna get exciting.. then he decides to take a vacation for the rest of the round.. no way Garcia won this fight imo. Knockdown or not.

Crisp punching by Garcia when he threw and I thought he was gonna go in for the KO which was exciting but then he started sleepwalking like he did against spence. Flat footed

Personally had Vargas winning. Garcia landed more impactful shots but simply got outworked and couldn’t finish him off. Round 3 could have gone to Garcia. Maybe.

Garcia emphatically won round five and thought he took round 7 and 8 but felt he lost every other round.

You can’t win 10-20 seconds in a round and think you win the round.. unless a kd is involved.

Again.. more impactful shots landed by Garcia but Vargas put in the better work.

But Vargas has little power and is less marketable so of course he’s not gonna win the cards. Just like Herrera.

This is very much like I saw it except I thought Vargas won all of the first 4 rounds. Also, Mikey was leery of Vargas' power. There was a time or two that Mikey was a bit buzzed and had to regroup. The commentators were swinging from Mikey's nads after the round were he knocked Vargas down. Vargas was still landing punches and bothering Mikey but the commentators were talking as if the fight should be stopped...even while Vargas was clearly fighting back.
