The IBOF has plaster casts of many fighters fists. Liston’s looks like a small turkey. Freakishly large.

Fighters with smaller fist were notorious for usually stopping fights with cuts. Less surface area for the force to land on causing more concentrated force in a smaller area, which the skin breaks easier.

Especially in any gloveless era!

Tommy Ryan had a 16 inch fist.


Go look them up then you clown. They're well known and well celebrated, McCoy is especially well known for his hands and what he did with them to maximize his size juxtaposed to his opposition.


You realize HW has had a minimal since the 1920s and it's moved up to 200+ ATM? You don't have small men becoming HWs anymore, hence no small fists.


If we're using modern HWs, most modern HWs have a few inches on Marciano's 11 inch fist. However, in Marciano's time, 11 inches was not all that small. On the smaller range, but not out of the norm.

Inversely Tommy Ryan's a tiny man with tiny man hands in his own era. An 8 inch fist is small for a HW in any era.


Why do you even go on? It's clear to everyone, I spoke to breaking skin and bones, you took it as KOs, I've since made it pretty clear I'm talking about breaks, you keep going on like you know something.

Mother ****er, I opened up with relation to the ball-peen.....I don't know how to make it more relatable or more real-world. It's a ball-peen hammer ffs....they do exist for a reason and those properties exist in all physics.
