Don't see a lot of parallels. Wilder lost exactly for the reasons people predicted - his skillset did not improve far, and he always relied on landing that 1 shot KO. He doesn't break people down, and he doesn't outbox anyone.
Crawford's a boxer who occasionally KOs people. He rarely loses a round. It would take someone significantly bigger than him or a lucky punch for him to lose in the next ~2 years. Keep in mind.. TC is reliant on speed. By 2023-23, he wont be the same fighter.

Crawford is the biggest hype job cherry picking bum beater in the sport. Hell even Broner, GGG, and Wilder stepped up. Crawford is hiding at Top Rank with ESPN exclusivity to fight bums for good $. Crawford will get exposed once he fights an elite welterweight but I doubt that ever happens. Arum will have him feast on more bums until the 140lbers move up and fight him... sadly clowns will still call him the best or a top welterweight with 0 proof because of their blind eye test. The eye test has been exposed so many times but dumbass bunboys still live and hype by it. Crawford is all talk and no resume. 140 was a ****ing wasteland of bums when he cleaned it out.

Don't forget that inactive and peg legged Jose Bumavidez took rounds off Crawford until his leg gave out. Inactive and blown up Gamboa put him on ***** street while at a massive size disadvantage. Eurobum Mean Machine dropped his overrated ass his last fight too. Crawford could surely be exposed if he ever fights a good opponent.

He hasn't looked impressive to me at all at welterweight. For him to be considered number 1 welterweight is absolutely farcical and its actually disrepectful to fighters who fight the best guys in the division.

Crawford is a highly skilled bonafide world class fighter.

He can box, fight backing up/moving laterally, sets traps, can get mean and fight on the front foot, can punch, can switch stances, and has a wide array of offensive and defensive weapons.

Nothing like Wilder at all who just waits at mid range to time a crushing right hand.

He had never impressed me at all. He is all hype. His resume is pure dog **** for a supposed top p4p fighter and welterweight. I blame HBO for starting this eye test overhyping by beating bums, faded former champs, and b class or lower trinket holders.

This is an insult to Bud and the sweet science. Deontay is an insult to the science itself.
