I am worried about this guy. He has bought into his own hype so much, it seems he cannot differentiate reality from fantasy.
The utter bullcr*p about "My people...I am your king" is just sheer, off the scale, idiocy. It is also an insult to people of colour. Who appointed him king?
Unfortunately, you know that Wilder did not write or plan this, he is just reading from a script. He needs to get rid of whoever is feeding him this nonsense and try to focus on boxing or else the 3rd fight is simply a cashout from his handlers, who seemingly care nothing for him as a person.Comment

Maybe he plans to finally learn how to box for a change before the next fight. At his current skill level, he doesn't stand a chance. But who knows, maybe he'll pull off a Rocky III and go back to the basics and reinvent himself and his technique. Yes, unlikely for a guy his age. But it would definitely make for a good underdog story. Could you imagine a 3rd fight where Wilder comes out actually boxing, timing his punches, using good footwork and winning rounds on points? It would certainly shock the hell out of me.Comment
