If Atlas can teach Andy to cut off a ring, it will be worth it.

Sorry but...that is one of the few attributes Ruiz is known for...cutting off the ring. 🤷*♂️

Parker danced circles around Andy, and when AJ needed a plan, they picked the Parker plan, with a few embellishments, like acreage. I'm talking about elite chicken chasing.

Yeah, maybe he can be helped at times with motivation, but that's on him, not any trainer.
Great post. A boxing trainer won't fix Andy. And idk that Andy can fix himself. You don't hear of many lackadaisical guys who switch things up midstream. A square peg doesn't die round or whatever that saying is.

Ruiz' problem is he thought he reached the top....... just like Fury...... beating the guy with all the belts and the consensus #1 is all that matters.

The difference in Klitschko and Joshua is like night and day though..... there is no glory in beating Joshua...... Fury chased Klitschko for 5 ****ing years.

                  Agreed.

I like a Teddy / Andy combo. Andy can adapt well to that peekaboo style and pace Tyson (Mike type) had early in his career.

Atlas is a solid trainer but he is like milk. It has an expiry date. Ruiz will probably can him in a few months but if he actually listens & works hard he might have some future success but it could be short lived as i just can’t see him lasting with a hardass like Atlas...
