Yeah I guess you always judge fights on swelling or small marks on someones face. Guess that means that Corrales got his ass kicked by Castillo in fight 1 right? I mean I'm just using DiegoFuego logic here.

I'd say the first fight was relatively even given the fact that Tarver couldn't put what was essentially a dead man in front of him away.

I know you're a Tarver fan, fine, whatever. But get a reality check. Tarver "kicked his ass in the 11"? Yeah okay. Was that before or after he landed that hook on Roy, shook him, and then completely gassed out and RAN SCARED FROM HIM FOR THE REST OF THE ROUND. Yeah, he rand scared, from a guy who was out on his feet.

And if you're going to bring up that stellar 11th round, as your only reasoning as to why Roy 'got his ass kicked in that third fight' I'll bring up the fifth Round, where a shot gunshy Roy Jones handed Tarver his ass.

These kinds of games are fun but worthless. Tarver handed Roy his ass in the second fight. 1 punch KO, lucky or not.

Tarver lost the first fight fair and square.

Tarver beat Roy in the third fight fair and square but looked like complete pathetic **** doing so.

I wont go into the Johnson and Hopkins fights.
I never said I judge fights on swelling. You can get your ass kicked and still win the fight. It happens all the time. Taylor got his ass kicked but beat Hopkins in the first fight for example. I scored the first fight a draw every time I've scored it. I'm perfectly fine with Tarver proving he was the better man by winning two of the three and always winning the other one. Are you fine with that or do we need to keep arguing? Tarver owned Roy.

What do they have to do with the argument at hand? Tarver deserved to win both fights against Johnson and got completely dominated by a great, great fighter in Hopkins. Nothing to be ashamed of. Also notice how Tarver doesn't make excuses about the weight unlike Roy.

Training for too long, shooting a movie...

        Those aren't excuses.

Johnson deserved the win in the first fight, and Tarver was a ***** for not giving him a rubber match when Johnson didn't have to give him a rematch.

Once again, just more evidence of what a ***** you are.

The reason Tarver didn't give Johnson the rubber match was because in his eyes he won both fights and the fans needed to see another fight (and he was right). Too bad he settled for Jones again.

I don't see how anybody could have scored Tarver-Johnson I for Johnson. But there were a lot of people jumping on Johnson's bandwagon at the time, and Tarver has always had an attitude problem, so I think it's more a case of people saying, "well, I like Johnson, and he did officially win a split decision, so I'll pretend it was the right decision", which is just complete crap. For me, I had to see Tarver beat up on Roy again just to win the trilogy and shut up Roy's ignorant ass fans. They can say all they want about Roy beating Tarver in his prime, but the fact is when it came down to it, Tarver worked him for 26 rounds and dominated that feud. And that will always be enough for me.

Yea that makes a whole lot of sense. The fans need to see another fight so he fights Jones again coming off a year's inactivity and back to back losses.

He lost the first fight with Johnson fair and square, and narrowly won the 2nd fight where both of them looked out of shape.

He was given the rematch, in turn he should have given the rubber match.

I remember when Tarver-Jones III was announced, so many dumb as **** posters were on here proclaiming the return of Roy and a knockout win. I laughed the entire month leading up to the fight. Then they were all pissed for a while but eventually (as Roy fans are prone to do), they started rationalizing and saying Roy could have won the fight. Then Roy himself rationalizes saying he lost on purpose. It never ends with that piece of **** or his ignorant fans.

What you think about scoring is irrelevent, because you scored the 1st Jones Tarver fight for Tarver, then went back on it when you got made fun of.

Both the Johnson Tarver fights were close, and the fact that Johnson gave Tarver a rematch when he didn't have to makes Tarver look like a ***** for not offering up the rubber match.

Did he actually score Tarver Jones 1 for Tarver? I really hope not, that would strain his credibility to almost Ferocity levels.
