Guy can fight a bit. Hard to determine how good he really is because the competition has all been slow. Helenius is no different.

Kownacki has some talent, indeed, but he needs to keep things in perspective better IMO. Maybe he's developed a higher opinion of himself than he should have. Fighting mid-level competition sometimes does that to a fighter. He'll likely get past Helenius, but then what? Martin exposed his weak defense on several occasions during their fight. And that wasn't the first time. He has to fix that or he'll be toast sooner than later. And, he's a smallish HW anyway. IMO, he'll catch his first L within the next 2-3 fights if he keeps at the same advancement into the top 10.

I have a similar assessment. Kownacki throws alot of very slow punches and has a pretty porous defence. Once he steps up another level I'm not sure he prevails. I think Breazeale probably could have handed him his first L had Kownacki's team taken that fight.

I thought Martin could have possibly won that fight with another 2 rounds. Martin didn't really start trying to be competitive until about halfway through the fight.

The Arreola fight was a red flag. Granted Chris looked like he turned back the odometer a few miles for that night and looked better than recent; Arreola has been well past his prime since the Stiverne fights.

Helenius is also pretty well shopworn and I'm not convinced he really enjoys fighting anymore so Kownacki should be able to blast through him or grind him out.

Yes, some good points. As slow as Kownacki's punches are, most top 10 guys will stop him within the distance. He definitely has some work to do if he wants title shots.

Ahh, there's actually only 1 heavyweight that could really be considered A level which is fury. The rest are all super vulnerable.
