He 100% called his own timeout! He used his teeth to loosen the tape on his gloves, then he made a "time out" signal to the ref and walked to his corner like he was in third grade about to get tagged it. And the ref was just like "yeah, cool. Time out I guess?"

Yeah i couldn’t remember if it was the Takam fight or Parker, but thought it was the Parker one.

It was really bizarre i’d never seen a fighter call their own time out and the ref just going along with it.
