    Honest question to Wilder fans

and be honest when answering, because i truly want to know. This isn't a troll thread or anything, i seriously want to know

Do you really consider him to be a skilled fighter, like an actual skilled boxer. Do you consider him an ATG. I have no problems with you guys liking him, but you can't truly say he is a skilled boxer.?

As a Wilder fan he isn't a technically skilled fighter but he does have a certain skill set. His step in 1-2 and timing for it is flawless at times. He is naturally athletic and agile. Just not a technical fighter. I do believe if he had swapped trainers years ago and went with someone.... anyone that would've pointed out his weaknesses and worked on them instead focusing solely on his power he could've been great.

For a very long time I told people he wasn't skilled and that I was a fan. All he really has is ungodly power. The Brits still got mad at me even when I put it in that very real and very honest context.

I was always supposed to hate the guy in their opinion.....

but as we seen in the last Fury fight.. he just got exposed. Fury fought a different, more agressive fight.

Wilder always winds up when he throws a right hand usually with a lead step, he couldn't get it off since Fury was agressive off the bat, Kronk style

he hit Fury in the first fight with them because he was much more defensive minded, but now that Fury is Kronk style agressive. Wilder will never land his right hand again

Good post. I’m a Fury fan but I hold nothing against Wilder and still rate him as the number 2 HW in the world today.

I think Manny Steward would have been brilliant for Wilder. It’s probably too late for him to change trainer and really develop his style now but I’d still recommend he leave Deas and find someone with much more experience within the professional ranks.

Why do yall keep bringing up and asking these questions everyone knew 5 years ago? He does some things good, being accurate, distance but he not a good boxer, he a better "fighter"

Every fighter has casual fans but why when it comes to certain fighters yall take into account the casual side so much to shyt on the Wilder/Boxing fans?
