750K PPV Buys--You Wilder Fans Still Think he Deserves 50% split with AJ?

All that talk about how Wilder deserved no less than 40% and even 50% split with AJ last year. He couldn't even break 1M PPV sales with the help of Fury in a highly anticipated rematch. So what percentage would be realistic now if talks heat up again between Wilder and AJ?

AJ hasn't proven to be a PPV draw in any way in the US. Wilder/Fury 800k PPV sales is about the same number of US subscriptions DAZN has. I am sure you would agree those sales were driven by Canelo and not AJ.

It's all moot for now. But say Wilder somehow were to regain the belt from Fury. If you have the fight in Vegas, do a 50/50 split on the US PPV and give AJ a 85/15 split on the Sky PPV.

The mystique has gone, Wilder isn't even worth 30% now.

So in other words, your dumbass doesn't realize PPV's in the UK cost like 20 pounds while PPV's in the US cost $80.

They spent so much on promoting it they didn't even break even. Wilder-Fury was a flop for the networks.

"Based on the enormous amount of financial resources FOX and ESPN budgeted to promote their rematch, it is believed that Wilder-Fury II will need to generate somewhere between 1.1 and 1.2 million buys for the networks just to break even."

By Keith Idec - LAS VEGAS – Bob Arum was at a party on Super Bowl Sunday, surrounded by about 80 people. When the first of two commercials promoting the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury rematch aired during the Chiefs-49ers game, partygoers began looking at Arum. No one had ever seen a boxing commercial during the most-watched annual...
