I think wilder would still KO ruiz. Ruiz has a chin but wilder right hand makes anybody chin irrelevant.

Plus ruiz does not have the foot work or head movement of fury but he does have the hand speed.

Poor Ruiz trying his damnedest to remain topical. Wish him well, but really wanna commend the reporter for the hustle. Must've been tough to catch him without a mouthful of pasta and pizza. IMO the only way this guy proves he's legit is to drop 50 lbs of ugly fat and prove he can stay that way. Myself, I'd be embarrassed to show up in public looking like he does for a fight.

The talk of Ortiz vs Ruiz would be anybody's guess. In other posts, it seems opinions are running the entire range. Should be a good fight though if it happens... one I think Ortiz wins on points.

Sorry Fluffy jr you'll never be like Fury. He parties after a fight...not before and into the next. Pretty obv why Snickers never went near him for a deal. Cause he would eat himself to death.

There was no off night for Wilder. He was never that skillful or smooth moving, and Fury won most of the rounds in their first fight as well. If Ruiz could actually train properly, he would have a fair chance of beating Wilder, and AJ may beat Deontay as well. Wilder just has the one trick but it's a hell of a trick yes, the powerful right hand.

I agree and I think this would be an interesting scrap, almost like an old wild west shootout. Probably won't last but a couple rounds. Ruiz seems to have a pretty good chin but his short arms and lack of foot speed would make it difficult and dangerous to navigate the danger zone of Wilder's power. If he can close the distance, Ruiz has the power and hand speed to blitz Wilder up close

Interesting fight. I still think the edge goes to Wilder but who knows.

I'd pick ruiz over Wilder in this one. Inside fighting, bodywork, negotiating the jab Mike Tyson style, faster hands and better chin. All he's gotta do is avoid that deadly right hand left hook combo that Wilder has and maybe the odd uppercut, of course this is all if Andy is in shape! 😁
