They could really say phuk you and give it to Lemuiex and tell DAZN these guys all turned it down. lol DAZN is done playing hardball with Canelo and they are not moving the date like last year it cost DAZN millions in subscribers they lost by canelo fighting in Nov instead of Sept. But Canelo got paid the same and still got the fight he always wanted. He wanted Kovalev to become 4 division champ. But his next fight I don't think canelo cares if it's Smith or Saunders in May or anyone else. Canelo has fought guys out the blue nobody was talking about before. Chavez, Khan, Fielding, Liam Smith. Eric Gomez comments yesterday sound like there is a fighter not named Smith or Saunders in the mix and I think Hearn knows it too.

Canelo is paid by DAZN in a flat rate that is largely guaranteed. He doesn't care who he fights.
DAZN/Golden Boy have to pay the opponent and they want to keep costs down. Keep in mind Canelos opponents each made around $7-12 million last year (Jacobs and Kovalev) so these guys are trying to get some of that bread, but in demanding so much more than they're worth...they're pricing themselves out. And now they might get $0 and settle for fighting Club level opponents for 750k..like they've both been doing the past few years.
Is hilarious how boxing works sometimes and Greed is definitely not a good position to take when you're fighting the face of boxing
Charlo also priced himself out and doesnt even talk about it after being publicly criticized. A duck is a duck and some people cant face the music (Danny Jacobs, Andrade, GGG, Canelo...hes ducked all four of those guys now)Comment

Smith will come to actually fight so it will make a more exciting fan friendly fight before canelo knocks him out. Saunders will stink up the joint run from canelo and get knocked out late or be content losing a boring decision. Both coming off fights they could of lost or should of lost. Neither guy is beating canelo. lol neither can draw flies to see them fight on their own and are pricing themselves out.Comment

Either way, Saunders fights to his level of competition. You fight the guy who isn't pricing himself out the fight. He already gave saunders and Smith offers both turned multiple times their career payday. You can't force somebody to accept the fight. Somebody is going to get rich and yup it might be Lemuiex and if you upset about it blame Hearn and his 2 fighters who asked for more then they worth. Let them fight each other for a fraction or somebody else and pray they don't lose because one of them should of lost his last fight and the other needed a 11th round stoppage to avoid lossing his last fight.Comment
