I don't think either HW has given much reason to be showered in kudos, hyperbole and the typical labels.

Both have had mostly weak opposition their entire careers, with the exception of each other, and for Fury his fight with Klitschko.

Fury showed some guts and smarts to scrappily tire out Wilder, and that's what the fight was - scrappy.

Fury has some skill for a man his size, but finding the right range to throw and land clean combinations is not one of them.

Wilder just got smothered and roughed up. He was understandably well worn out perhaps from carrying the extra weight, and the surprise of Fury walking him down.
If Wilder was a better boxer there were openings when Fury charged in, but it was not to be.

I just find all the 'He's No#1' talk far too premature and underserved when we have a tested, unified, travelled, accomplished HW in the picture of which neither Wilder or Fury will deserve such praise if and when they face that challenge, then, perhaps, we can begin to throw around some hyperbole.

Is Fury not traveling? He bear Klitschko in hes own den, a guy undefeated in a decade. He twice fought, and really beat Wilder, considered by many the best, away from home. Outside of AJ, who's best win was a guy Fury had beaten without home advantage, who is there for Fury to prove anything with?

I don't understand why Deontay Wilder was so gun shy he could have at least let his hands go Tyson Fury was there to be hit. That's why the towel was thrown because he wasn't really doing **** but getting beat from Pillar To Post he maybe throw one punch with bad intention in the entire fight.

It’s not that he was gun shy, it’s that his right hand is not a reactive counter punch, he has to set it up and time it, which requires him to have some sense of control of what is going on.

Fury took the weapon away from him by changing angles and range constantly and Wilder was befuddled, especially with hurtful punches raining in and the inside work just being well beyond his capability in that zone.

I don’t believe there is anything Wilder has today in his technique or ability that will overcome Fury boxing him this style.

I've been riding with Wilder since the Olympics.. So I'm riding with him all the way to the end. Same goes for Adrien Broner, Austin Trout, Keith Thurman, Chris Eubank jr., Errol Spence and the Charlos. That's the difference between the Real and the bytchmade bandwagon riders that jump ship as soon as the waves get rough!

Out of curiosity, if you had Wilder's ear and could advise him on his future moves, what would you say? Would you exercise the rematch clause? Take a step-aside deal to fight the winner of AJ/Fury and maybe take an interim fight to try and work on things? New trainer?

I'm not sure how coachable he is or isn't, it's easy to grow complacent when you have power like that. I'd try to get him in with a coach who could maybe tweak a few things. I also think a fight against a guy like Wach may help him work on new tools. Wach is a big rugged guy who has a granite chin but shouldn't really be too dangerous. If he can stop him, he would have done something Whyte failed to do in his last fight.

I would work on his inside fighting game.. An tighten up that defense a bit.. I would definitely exercise the rematch clause now.. because Fury will never fight him again before he retires if he doesn't exercise the rematch now. Wilder is the smaller guy, he has to make Fury uncomfortable on the inside.. an when Fury reverts to boxing.. Catch him with big right coming in.. Game over.. Wilder needs to make the next fight a war of attrition, and absolutely rugged! a Shawn porter vs Spence kinda fight..

Roach would be a perfect replacement to train wilder..best prospects for wilder would be roach, kronk gym, Floyd Sr or dude that trains yarde. That would be great places for wilder to vastly improve.

Replace him with Eddy Reynoso and you have a good list of trainers that Wilder should consider changing to.
