Exactly. I hope that in a couple of fights Wilder manages to retire with facilities intact, and then someday when he sees a less fortunate boxer with tremors or slurred speech he realises and apologizes to Breland.Comment

Go and look on social media yourself, unless you live in a third world country with no internet then you would have come across what am referring. The rest of your post is really irrelevant.
And please don’t try and twist it toward Tyson Fury. That’s pathetic of you..Comment

Great writing, Gerbasi.
This fight reminded me of McClellan vs. Benn in that Fury brought hell to the world's most feared puncher. I'm glad Breland stopped it because Wilder was getting wiped out.Comment

Agreed.
I just watched the story about Patrick Day on HBO's "Real Sports" and it's just fxcking heartbreaking to watch that dude's family & his trainer have to deal with loss & regret regarding his death.
Deontay's mad now, but he should probably get over it.
That being said, he should probably fire his trainers because of his lack of skill and progression. About 2 or 3 years ago, it looked like he was starting to add a jab and was growing as a fighter, but has since regressed.Comment

Wilder has been getting plenty of hate after this loss. People say he can't fight, that is crazy he just isn't a technical boxer. Just a guy having a go at life and taking care of his girls........Comment

Fury was punishing him badly. But in a way that Wilder was not being ko'd yet. It seemed to me that Fury was torturing Wilder. He wanted the match to last more. Fortunately, it was stopped.Comment

The way the fight was going(Fury totally dominating & pounding Wilder & Wilder not doing much)& the way ref Bayless was looking at Wilder when he was getting hit, if Breland did not throw the towel, even tho Bayless did seem to give Wilder a few breaks, at some point Bayless was going to stop it..
It was too much & as the fight went on, Fury's punches were landing easier & doing more damage.Comment
