Wilder should fight Hughie after the Tyson trilogy.

    This isn’t even a joke.

Let’s assume Tyson Fury wins again when they fight a third time.

Wilder would need a comeback fight. We can’t really expect him to fight Anthony Joshua after two straight Fury butt kickings.

He should fight Hughie Fury. It would be against a fighter in the range that Wilder should be coming back in. It would also be the biggest fight Wilder could make staying in that range. I feel like it would be a championship atmosphere, especially if it was held in England.

It would make sense but I think Wilder's Ego would want to go for Ruiz or heck, maybe Ortiz 3! lol.

Or fight him now. F*%k it.
It'd be a good build up for facing him again in an eventual rematch if he KOs Hughie.
I think Fury should fight Whyte and then the winner of Joshua Pulev this year. Or maybe Wilder fight Chisora in the interim before a Fury or Joshua fight

Peter would have a sound plan and more then enough info from Tyson fights to possibly cause the upset ,to risk of a fight because it would be the end of Wilder losing to Hughie ,i still think Wilder will retire after the third Fury fight but if he can steal the belt back if Fury retires I wouldn’t put it past the WBC to do more shenanigans and ,if AJ or Hrgovic can get the belt Wilders chances of getting the belt is gone for good .

We all know Wilders camp and circle will demand a rematch though. With all that money there and a chance to win the belts back, there is NO way Haymon passes on it. I agree to a certain extent. I mean what's to say Wilder wouldn't lose an interim fight with Ruiz or someone else? That's a lot of money and opportunity to not take when you are 34 going on 35.
That being said Wilder is regressing as a boxer just like Broner and the people in his ear are becoming more toxic and plentiful. He is being manipulated in so many different ways it's sad as f*%k but you know what? He's 34, figure it out. The champion of the world needs to be able to create an enviorment that serves his best interest as a professional. Not a bunch of yes (wom)men and race hustlers globbing on to him status appeal. I honestly don't see him breaching the bubble of the black excellence, hip hop culture that is manipulating him. Still I see him coming into the rematch much more dangerous. Anything is possible. Low blows, shady officials, or maybe even pulls a Audley Harrison like performance and clips Fury early.
