Could Joshua’s next two mandatories be better than Wilder?

Kubrat Pulev has a classical amateur boxing background and his only professional loss was to Wladimir Klitschko. He has also looked pretty dominant against a lower class of fighter.

Oleksander Usyk is a top pound for pound boxer.

Is there a chance that these two mandatories are forcing Joshua to take a tougher road to undisputed than Deontay Wilder would have been?

    Not really.

Mark my words...Pulev will be an easy fight for Joshua. He wins by early KO.

Usyk is having problems at the HW division. I don't rate him high in HW at all. He will NOT be the next Holyfield, just an average fighter. We already saw a glimpse against Witherspoon and his successive injuries since then. I give him some time and advantage to prove himself at the HW division but I am afraid his hype will come crashing down sooner rather than later.

With AJ, as with all super A-sides...you have to take into account the likelihood that deserved or not, he will get the decision if it goes 12.

Wilder had and will likely always have a better chance to beat AJ as he can end the fight early, and AJ-Wilder would very very likely end before 12 rounds...and Wilder is at least 50% likely to end it in his favor.

Usyk could outbox AJ 8-4 and not win...same with Pulev.
