I swear, it seems to me Tyson still hasn’t gotten the hang of throwing sharp punches with those long-ass arms of his. If he ever finds that groove, it’s gonna be killer. He caught Wilder with one good, stiff jab early in their rematch. It sent Deontay stumbling back. Just an example of what Fury can do if he sharpens his technique.

The final straight right threw the guard right before the fight was stopped was a great shot too

I think he has, but I would like to hear other opinions. A lot of people have been vocal that Fury can’t punch.
You brought up Jameel McCline in a post a few days ago. A big man like that who sits down on his shots will hit hard. Just ask granite chinned Chris Byrd who hit the deck hard from a Jameel right hand.

His KO% is pretty good in general , never mind for a fighter that often never looked for knockouts.

He may not knock guys out in a shot, but with a bit of accumulation, he can stop you.

Fury is a heavy handed guy he hits hard and against a weaker chin the fight was that easy to get right . If Ortiz is a power punching so is Fury who stopped Hammer unlike Ortiz.
              Bullseye.
Davison had Fury play it safe.
When you're 6'9" & 270 with that fluid technique, very few should see the bell.
This new Fury is what Manny Stweard foresaw.

Any heavyweight can stop another heavyweight, they're too big and too strong to think otherwise. It may not always be likely, but to say any heavyweight can't punch is extremely rare.

That was a good shot, he took a step back, got his range and delivered it. It was one of the few times he had the opportunity to go through the guard though.

Fury was clever with his shots in this fight. The way wilder holds his guard when he defends, the only way to really hit him is to go around the guard unless you get the perfect opening to split the guard, which Fury did a few times. Had Fury just thrown straight shots all night, he wouldn’t have caused as much damage. So he rightly looped them around the guard.

Fury was even throwing jabs around the guard or even purposely past the guard instead of at it, sometimes not even with intention, it was done just to position Wilder towards his right hand.

They really did their homework on Wilder this time, they had every box ticked.

I agree I honestly was rooting for Wilder but wasnt at all disappointed with Fury winning. I was on my feet from the opening bell watching in awe really at how good Fury did. If he can keep his head on right he's an unstoppable force in this era. I dont see anyone beating him outright with the exception of a lucky punch. Fury is a complete and exceptional heavyweight.

I mean he had like a 69% KO ratio before the fight which is solid. Wilder boosted the myth that he’s pillow fisted, which may seem that way compared to somebody like Wilder. But he’s 250-270 pounds. He hits hard.
