    So... Fury can punch, right?

Has Tyson Fury changed that fan point of view?

I think he has, but I would like to hear other opinions. A lot of people have been vocal that Fury can’t punch.

He's stronger than he was before.

Accumulation puncher, but not a one-punch fighter.

He’s not pillow fisted as Wilder claimed but he’s not a monstrous puncher either.

Wilder while durable has been hurt and dropped by lesser opponents. It seems that many were unaware of this because I keep hearing on various news outlets that Fury dropped Wilder for the first time in his career, that’s not true.... he’s been down at least twice before Saturday night might against scorniers and some fat guy.

I think Fury has respectable power, he will hurt most guys he nails flush but he’s not a Lewis or Wlad type where the right hand is dynamite.

Nothings changed. He doesn't possess one punch KO power, but he hits plenty hard enough to get your attention and respect.

Now he seems to have found his ideal weight, and has a full time nutritionist, I expect he might start punching even harder.

If so, Fury is basically unbeatable unless you land a lucky punch.

A lot of power comes down to technique and he found the right trainer to maximize that.

Anyone as big as Fury has to have decent power. Tyson himself has said that he doesn’t normally sit down on his punches because he prefers to be a slick boxer-type. (That’s almost verbatim.) Anyone who’s watched him fight before Saturday night knows this is true. As you guys pointed out, Fury will never be a monster puncher, but he can bring the pain if he wants to.

Well he has a higher KO ratio against higher opposition than Ruiz, Ruiz is labeled a monstrous on boxingscene so Fury HAS to be a heavy puncher by default

Fury has better stoppages then Ortiz who became Superman on here. Fury also going into the fight over 270 was never going to end well for Wilder ,the better boxer is able to touch Wilder up this means the fight was already won if you knew what you were expecting .sometimes fights are very unpredictable but this was easy money in the bag.

Fury is a heavy handed guy he hits hard and against a weaker chin the fight was that easy to get right . If Ortiz is a power punching so is Fury who stopped Hammer unlike Ortiz.

Any man at that size can force you to respect his power and you dont need 1 punch knock out power if you throw sharp accurate punches.

Ali made a career out of outpointing opponents and occasionally stopping them by accumulation of punches. Fury models a similar style, but he’s so much bigger. Tyson doesn’t need the power, but there’s enough there to get the job done. He’s a tall order (pardon the pun) for anyone in heavyweight history.
