If fans had a memory that last more than 10 mins, it would be awkward for Warren to promote Joshua-Fury fight. Kinda ludicrous to claim the best heavyweight in the world fights spoiled goods in the one of the biggest unification fights in history. Not that the fight would need any selling...

I don't expect to see this fight in 2020. I'm sure Warren and Arum would want to marinate it a bit, Eddie is less patient

At this point its fair to say Fury is #1. And yeah, Joshua is slightly tarnished although he did a lot to right the wrong of the Ruiz loss. But really, that fight needs to happen to fully settle things regardless. There is no other fight for either guy that is anywhere near the scale of them facing each other now. In a way that fight potentially represents the end of an era. Not saying they both wont have plenty of decent fights left after that, but theres just a feeling of finality to it.
