Yes, but the difference is Bayless came into the second fight with the narrative in hand. Bayless in this fight already helped Wilder, so they'll go extreme for this one. I'd guess the next ref will be a no-name that they can discard after he tries everything he has to help Wilder win.

Wilder cashing himself out. Very little chance a third fight is much different. Fury has the blueprint and Wilder isn’t going to make many adjustments in a third fight.
He should take that step aside money so that AJ/Fury can happen.
I’m sure Hearn can throw some of that Saudi blood money at him to take some time off after his first loss.
Take an easy comeback fight at the end of the year and fight the winner of AJ/Fury for all the marbles.
Most likely Uncle Al won’t let that happen though. Haymon had all the HW titles just 3 months ago. Now he has 0.Comment

I understand Wilder and the Fan sides
I understand Wilder side, If he go to the third fight for a pay day and retire, there are much money involve to pass out and he need to secure completely his family future.
I also understand the fan side, we all want that undisputed fight, me include, but in this scenario I don't bash Wilder for getting that third, my only concern is Wilder health.

Step aside fee has to be at least 20 millionYes, take the step aside money with a guaranteed shot at the winner.
Let the other big beat up on each other while you recover.
Haymon needs to shut Finkel up & take an easy 5-10 million dollars.
Go to the UK & be a part of the event.
No such thing as bad publicity.
Wilder is the 1 with only 3 fights left, not Fury
Fight 3 in Vegas is 50 million pay dayComment

Warren is still holding himself up as Fury's promoter, but Arum clearly puts the show on (in this case a joint promotion with PBC) and Fury is under MTK management.
I am curious as to what Warren is actually doing or offering and what Fury is actually paying him for?
I accept that Warren brought Fury back in after his issues so Fury may have a bit of loyalty to him in that regard, but otherwise Warren has hitched his to trailer to the #1 Heavyweight but seemingly without having any actual role.Comment

Not beyond reason.
Wilder losing actually made his value go up.
All the heavyweights think they can beat & for good reason.
Now, the promoters have to pay the man big money to find out.Comment

Wilder 100% has what it takes to beat Fury, he just wasn't doing any of it in the rematch. Hopefully in the third fight he comes in light again, and does what he did the first time.. wait till Fury gets tired, then ****! let the right hand go to workComment

Amending your views and totally trashing a fighter are two different things....I'm speaking of the latter here. It's funny how people amend their view of a fighter after they see him get beaten up round after round? Doesn't seem that strange to me.
Had Fury got beaten up like that, without having any answer to his opponent, I'm not so sure Warren would have wanted to exercise the rematch clause.
You're right, maybe Warren wouldn't have wanted a 3rd fight if Fury lost like that, but I wouldn't doubt Fury would be opposed to it...especially if he feels he won the first fight (most felt he did, including me).Comment
