Fury's big punch in the 3rd that put Wilder down was near the back of the head. It was clearly thrown intended as a legitimate punch to the side of the head. The way Wilder turned, made it land toward the back of the head, inadvertently making it more damaging. Regardless, it was not a rabbit punch. It wasn't around to the actual back of the head (or more importantly to where the skull meets the neck, the real reason that punch is outlawed).

Did Fury fight rough? Yes, this is professional boxing. Did Fury fight dirty? No, I wouldn't say so. Both fighters were clinching -- Wilder more so as the fight went on. Fury wanted to land punches; Wilder wanted to tie him up. Was Fury punching Wilder with a free hand in the clinch? Yes. And so what!

I think Bayless did a decent job overall. Deducting a point from Fury seemed a little unfair, since I think it was six of one and half dozen of the other, but he did give both of them a warning before he deducted, so it wasn't completely out of the blue. They are both giant fighters and they were frequently clinching. Bayless did a decent job of staying in charge and getting in there to break it up when needs be (no mean feat) and several times also instructed them to fight out of it, so he wasn't leaning too far in the direciton of breaking up any inside fighting.

Definitely no sign of refereeing bias in Fury's favour.

I submit to the boxingscene two clips from rounds 4 & 5 : A nonpartisan observer clearly sees that Tyson was repeatedly trying to trip Deontay Wilder, a deliberate effort to cause further injury.

In the closing seconds of the third-round Gypsy-Bum seen the noticeable loss of balance in Deontay Wilder, which was caused by a illegal rabbit-punch. Ever the opportunist, Tyson exploited this advantage, like the dirty coward he is.

very well stated!! Especially about the knockdown punch in the 3rd...it was a jab/rt hand combo - Wilder turned his head after being hit by the jab.

Nice to see the sports media/boxing commentators, writers and analysts all praising Fury’s performance - nobody buying into all these weak pathetic excuses but Wilder fanboys!!!

The Gypsy-Bum fouled Deontay from round three all the way to the seventh ; the gifs I've share has already caused the 'Fury Faithful' to question this rubbish 'victory'.

This is a tainted win, I dont remember the 'Bronze-Bomber' ever having pitiful desperation to trip someone in order to drop them. Tyson is still a pillow-fist Euro-Bum, he could not legitimately stop Wilder with a 40+ pound advantage and illegal strikes to the back of the head all night.

Deontay even concussed, fatigued and injured had more punching-power by the time of the premature stoppage.

Fury nearly killed Wilder in the ring and probably will do next time if Wilder's corner won't look after him.

This is after you've spent the last 5 years talking about how Deontay was gonna KO Fury and rule the division. You have a lot of egg on your face Iqbal.

Like i say, at least you've had the balls to stick around this time and not go AWOL again. Man up and take your L, pu$$y.
