Comments Thread For: Bill Haney: Devin Can't Get Fights At 135; Going To 140 For Mikey Garcia

Bill Haney heard Bernard Hopkins out. Once Hopkins, a partner in Golden Boy Promotions, admitted to him that the company's emerging star, Ryan Garcia, mentioned his son's name last while rattling off upcoming opponents because Devin Haney is the best boxer in that group, Haney's father and trainer made a declaration in front of several videographers.

Why can’t American boxers fight against each other? 135 has Haney, Garcia, Lopez and Davis.

More like Haney won't be able to make 135 so easily anymore......

Isn’t he “injured”..why doesn’t he fight the Campbell-Fortuna winner? Why not apply a tiny bit of patience? Why he feels so entitled to run his mouth and jump ahead of legit unifications matches I can’t figure out.

Or maybe he was clout chasing?

Interviews I see of them last week was saying the opposite to this thread, lol. Haneys saying hes staying at 135 as that's where all the big fights are, and he'd only go to 140 for Mikey.

****ing despises Luke Campbell aswell by the sound of it

I wonder why Mikey Garcia you'd think the so called Champ at 135 would wanna call out another title holder and Ryan Garcia is right if the champ is calling him out it may be a sign

This is a real shame as there are fights to be made at 135. This era of boxing has got to be one of the worst in terms of matchups. There have been way too misses

Sorry Haney is a fraud, he has not fought anybody and i mean anybody he is the one injured but still talking ****.

He gonna get exposed earlier than Wilder. He is not world class just an average box who thinks he can manage his career.

When nobody reached out to sign, hence why Hearns picked up,

Way too many. And the problem is that there are about 9 champions per weight class.

It's real crazy that we gotta wait for these kids to turn 35 to watch them all fight smh Haney, Ryan, Tank and Lomo smh... Tank has been ducking major smoke from all the guys at 130 and 135.. didnt want to fight Farmer now he's ducking the top dogs at 135. It was so easy for him to walk over and yank his kids mom up, it should be that easy to make Tank and Garcia or Haney... or better yet LOMO!
