Deontay Wilder is running through a gamut of emotions right now but he will bounce back. A loss can have very devastating effects on an undefeated fighter's ego and psyche. He is not broken. If anything he is more embarrassed.

Currently, this is a time of deep reflection, reevaluation and reassessment for Deontay Wilder. He is forced to do some deep soul searching now.

I will say this; If he not is willing to make the necessary changes in his camp in order to become a more complete fighter than I would rather him retire than to risk serious bodily harm to himself.

Great post! Although I dont agree with the excuses it's just who Wilder is. AJ didnt make excuses because he's not an excuse making guy. He's less boisterous and flamboyant. Wilder on the other hand is loud mouth and obnoxious. This is who they are as human beings. Truth is things like this is a few reasons of many why we watch. Its entertainment at its finest and that's what they get paid to do. Alot of folks on here aren't considering this and dont even realize their hate for Wilder is literally paying his bills.

Couldn't agree more. It's the Mark of a person how they take defeat. Wilder acted like a 6 year old.

Congratulate your opponent, say you will be back, leave it at that.

I like Wilder, but I like Fury too(and anyone can do a search. I've said it for years). I'm not upset at all the Wilder lost to Fury. I picked Ortiz to beat him both times and Ortiz was winning both fights before he decided to stand and trade like an idiot. I would be upset had AJ beat Wilder. That would bother me because he's a ****ing coward. Wilder's die hard fans got to be able to take what they dish out. Spence or Crawford are next. That's another big fight we will never see because Crawford keeps looking average against cherry picks he's supposed to walk through and spence's life outside the ring is gonna be the end of him.

We're in an era of boxing now that people have the mentality of 1 loss means a career is over. That's why there are so many divisions with 4 and 5 undefeated fighters in the top 10. MF BS!!! If you're scared to take a loss, choose another sport and get the hell out of boxing.
