If he were retiring then I would say he is lying. The fact that he is forcing a rematch tells me he honestly believes in what he’s saying. Whether you think that makes him delusional is up to you (the correct answer is it does).

You see a man's true character after a defeat - Wilder showed his.

I'd say that Wilder took his beating like a man in the ring, but sadly once the fight was over the excuses flowed out.

I always found the way Wilder strutted about after he knocked a guy down pretty shabby and disrespectful - it's okay to celebrate but he kind of insulted and belittled his opponents IMO.

On that basis alone I took pleasure in seeing him flail, stumble and jerk around against Fury - he needed to be humbled.

I'm not disagreeing that Wilder is over the top full of crap nor that Fury would've been a man about it where Wilder is acting like a 5 year old but the truth still remains he is still in the limelight which equates to dollar signs..

Even if it were illegal punches, which it wasn’t, he should man up and throw some back then.

That’s why i liked Andre Ward. Yeah he would be rough and maybe use questionable tactics like that, but do you think he would allow himself to be bullied and hit behind the head? If you did it, he’ll do it right back. It’s a fight, it’s up to the ref to call the shots, you don’t just get bullied.
