Joshua def not a coward, his record is good.

But he never seemed in a hurry to fight the other guys of the TOP 3.

I always thought he was reluctant to fight Wilder, at least in the US, so I don't see why he would quickly sign a fightwith the guy who murked Wilder

His Uncle Eddie will keep up the 'AJ really wants the fight, but Fury doesn't' narrative but most see through that BS.

Expect AJ to keep fighting contenders and past prime guys for the next couple of years before retiring.

AJ is following the Floyd blueprint - PPV Hype but no real drama or competition because that would be bad for Brand Joshua.

He fought Wlad in a 50/50 fight on his 17th fight you don't play it safe by taking even competition and an ATG as a novice even if they are just past their prime.

What's the real competition out their anyway excluding Wilder and Fury? Don't start talking about 40 year Ortiz (who chose not to fight AJ twice) as real competition and not counting Wlad.

The Fury camp is wary of Joshua, not saying Fury cant beat him but I think they know Joshua is far more of a challenge than Wilder is from a technical point of view

          I dont think so.

The reason Fury battered Wilder is because Wilder has no defence and dumbly didnt even contemplate Fury coming forward. Wilder also let Fury throw a haymaker to the back of his head eithout even guarding against it, for the first KD, which essentially ended the contest.

AJ will be coming in far better prepared with his world class team compared to Wild's bunch of zealots and yes men.

I think the issues with making fights stem mainly from promotional gobbledyg00k, purses, splits, TV rights, lowballing, dodgy contracts... AJ himself, I can't see that he has problems getting in the ring with anyone, even if he is perpetually muzzled and horrendously PR-trained. I remember Tyson Fury in an interview once talking about some of the details of dealing with Eddie, calling him a sleaze, saying you can't trust this man, etc. That seems about right to me. Even if Tyson contradicts himself sometimes, and talks a lot of bs, he strikes me as being about 1 million % more honest than Eddie, and unfortunately for us, AJ is not his own man...

You can talk about beating a 40 year old Wlad or Povetkin all day, but it's irrelevant.

Joshua is protected by Hearn and given easier opponents for PPV $$$.

The Hearn marketing approach is pretty much identical to what Floyd did when he picked opponents. It makes money, but also raises legitimate questions over Joshua's ambition.

Yeah that's fair enough, he signed his life away, he has to deal with the consequences of that

It's not irrelavant, who's better and more dangerous than Wlad was to AJ not called Wilder or Fury?

Fury hasn't even been back on the scene long enough to fight AJ and it's easily arguable that Wlad was a better fighter than Wilder even at his age.

You not be protected when you're taking on the best available.

Being protected would be look like Wilders resume and picking guys that looked trash against Piannetta lol a cherry pick too far. Avoiding meetings with the unified champ to make the fight and turning down large multiples of your highest payday to fight him.

You salty Wilder got whooped or something?

First: Joshua would fight Fury or anybody IMO he just has to ask Eddie to take his balls out of his purse cause hes not allowed to hold em. Second: I'm already old with hearing John Fury. It's one thing for Tyson to babble off at the mouth. It's even ok for Ben Davidson or Sugar Hill to do it but this guy its acting like Adam Sandlers dad off the Waterboy right now.
