Wilder's new excuse: blame Kenny Bayless

Fury said he has no problem with what Kenny Bayless did, although many seem to think he was helping Wilder, and the point he deducted from Fury was harsh. But Wilder actually thinks that Kenny Bayless was helping Fury.

This is genuinely sad. Wilder has had a good career. He floored the best heavyweight of his era and lost in a good effort. He took part in the biggest heavyweight fight in years and helped resurrect mainstream boxing in America.

He still has the chance to go down as the 2nd best heavyweight of this era but is throwing it all away because he can't handle losing.

All Bayless did was try to get Wilder rest and try to help Wilder. Wilder's brain must be scrambled and at this point, he probably doesn't even remember most of the fight. If there is a 3rd fight, hopefully Fury knocks him cold so we don't have to hear his bull**** excuses on TV

Yep. And dumb ****s will say "nah bro, Wilder is a warrior, a loss in unacceptable!!". But losing is part of what makes people better and if they don't learn from it, they lose again. Wilder loses again regardless but still

This is all just mental fragility

The worst part for Wilder is that the last person you want to be going into a fight and pre fight build up against while you’re like this is Fury.

I won't say Bayless was biased toward a particular fighter but he has a certain approach to how he refs fights and I don't think it favored Fury.

Wilder got hit to the top and rear of his head because he ducked down to avoid punches. Fury mauled Wilder when they were in close but Bayless would break them up fairly quickly.

He is also conveniently forgetting that he scored that first knockdown by hitting Fury directly in the back of the head.

The different being that Fury was aiming for the ear while Wilder was blatantly punching down at the back of the head.
