    So Respect brother.
Thanks my friend you are too kind...I was looking forward to chatting with you some about that fight since you called me out on my fence sitting and forced me to give a real pick

Fury executed that gameplan so well...was surprised how early Wilder looked fatigued...still thought he could connect with that right hand early though and end it.

Just a great fight from Fury...very impressive.

Wilder had no adjustments or answers for Fury. It was a brutal beating and there is nothing heroic in taking a one sided beating that could have life threatening and lingering effects. This isn't gladiator Rome, we live in the year 2020 and are well aware of the consequences of this sport on fighters' long-term wellbeing.

Wilder should be GRATEFUL his corner stopped the fight. I only wish it was done much sooner!
I hear ya man...I was fairly neutral on the fight...but I felt Wilder was done around the 3rd or 4th round...agreed that I would have had no issue with it getting stopped a couple rounds earlier...the writing was on the wall

        Idiot

        Wilder is SO'oooooooooo LAME❗
He had his ass handed to himself by
the #1 heavyweight champion in the world. Mark Breland saved his ass
and if I was Mark It'd quit and tell Wilder to stay where ever he's going
and to stay there till he's had some sense to come back and appreciate
the champion that was in his corner.
Not that yes man Jay Deas who doesn't know **** about BOXING❗

            Interesting take-offs from this fight.

            1) Fury DID train for power punching! He told Wilder, but Wilder didn't believe it and wasn't prepared for an all-out assault from the opening bell.
            2) Team Fury DID notice in the Breazeale fight that a wild Breazeale punch to the head staggered Wilder and discombobulated him. Breazeale didn't or couldn't capitalize right away. Team Fury made it a priority to catch Wilder and follow up heavily and immediately thereafter.
            3) Mark Breland DID the right thing, even though Wilder may not appreciate it. I understand Wilder's feelings and thoughts about it, but no credible cornermen should allow a HW fight to continue with a fighter in the condition Wilder was in. Unknown head/eardrum/middle ear damage, bleeding profusely from the ear (the ring doctor should always stop a fight for this ... very dangerous), equilibrium and balance compromised, reflexes slow, head not clear, legs not responding, and Wilder was not adequately able to defend himself. His corner, the ref, ring doctor, someone had to stop it, no matter how Wilder feels about it ... his family and future demand it.

Wilder is formidable and can come back (thanks to Breland). He has to prepare to start fast and defend well early. He has to realize this will be all opponents tactic going forward ... to hurt him early.

Big shots high to the head by HW fighters (and others) can disrupt everything. AJ found out per Ruiz, now Wilder finds out per Fury. Preparation, strong defensive moves, and a heavy and effective counter-attack is mandatory early in HW fights. Concussive shots high on the head (the ear and above in Wilder's case) change everything at HW, and more often than not will guarantee a loss.

Also, like I said per AJ, some serious time off to allow the brain to heal (along with any other injuries) is best going forward ... not a quick return. Ruiz gave AJ a pass by not coming in ready to make war in the rematch (AJ was VERY fortunate in that). Wilder needs to ebuild/recharge carefully and patiently.

Cong**** to Fury/Team Kronk. A well considered game plan, serious training (no more pillow fists), and plan execution carried the day. But Wilder can come back and beat him.

There should be no hard feelings toward Mark Breland, who is always a pro and a man with heart and brains.

This isn't the right mentality for a champion to have after a loss.

I'm no longer on Team Wilder! Name change coming later this week.

Wilder has tremendous heart to keep fighting. I love all this. Hopefully everyone counts Wilder out and he's a huge underdog.
The fact is that he didn't attack for a single second, that night. And...he looked like a small cruiser, compared with the huge Fury.

It's obvious that the fight would have been stopped soon by Bayless anyway, or Wilder would be knocked down once or twice more and be counted out. But yes, it would maybe have been better if the towel wasn't thrown in then, as he didn't want to go out like that, and their corner said not to. Sadly, it looks like Breland might not work with Wilder again in the future, but we shall see the developments. Fury was just too good and he's clearly the best heavyweight in the world, and the best since Lennox Lewis.

Wilder has more Coaches than a NFL Team

Physically he is in a David Gaye type situation where his body can't take the steroidal / hormonal abuse anymore and responds with injuries

Ward destroyed his right knee and shoulder tendons with a specific PED which helps to Stay dry and was forced to Go up in weight but he had a tremendous skillset (including fouls) to rely on.
Wilder just had the excessive PEDs and protection from his large team of advisors (con men)
