Attack Fury from the first second, in the hope of catching him cold and overconfident.
What would Wilder have to do in a third fight to have a good chance at beating Fury?

1. I believe that he needs to find a happy medium between the 212 lbs he weighed in the first fight and the 231 he weighed in the rematch. I think 220 or so sounds about right
2. My emphasis for Wilder would be on hand and foot speed. Fury wins going away if it's a grappling, mauling type of fight so Deontay needs to be lighter and faster so he can create the space he needs in order to generate power.
3. I actually liked how Wilder threw to the body in the first two rounds. I would do more of that if I were him because he has to do something to keep Fury at least somewhat honest.
4. Avoid clinching and wrestling like the plague. Shawn Porter did a good job of spinning out and attacking against Errol Spence Jr. and I would watch footage of that fight as an example.
All of this is way easier said than done of course but that's what I think Wilder has to do.Comment

I was thinking maybe just doing the style of what Maidana did to Mayweather in their first fight of just brawling & throwing a lot of punches. But the issue is Fury is bigger than Wilder so I’m not sure how well that would work out. Wilder probably needs to come in heavier too since the weight difference was pretty substantial.Comment

what he needs to do is not to take a 3rd fight right away. he can not just rely on his power everytime. he needs to get his confidence back and add some dimensions to his style. that would not happen in a short time though so if he wants to fight fury again he has to wait a little longer, go back to his old ways of fighting bums just to get his confidence back and see what else he could do aside from relying on his power.Comment

You think he has to try to do something similar to what Joshua did against Ruiz in their second fight? He’s always just relied on his power which is unfortunately not good against a guy like Fury. Not sure how much he can improve foot work & speed at this point. Maybe Fury is just all wrong for Wilder no matter what outside of landing that KO punch.Comment

That's what is needed.
Hit him low and fight dirty just like Fury did.Comment

He has to drop down a few pounds and move more in the ring. Not getting hit in back of the head would help too. That shot changed everything quick. I'm not saying Fury needed that shot to win but ot took away any chance Wilder had of recovering and being able to land something big himself. I thought it busted his ear drum but I haven't read any reports stating so.Comment
