Personally i cant aee a scenario where AJ wins unless it's by lucky punch.

    Reasons.

Fury refuses to fight in England as AJ would be the huge favorite and Fury himself says the fans disrespect him.

Also, a fight in England they would never allow Fury to tie up with him.

AJ after being KOed by Ruiz imo is afraid to exchange because he knows how it feels to be on the receiving end of one of those shots.

Fury has shown the versatility to fight off the front from and on the back foot.

Fury is both taller and longer than AJ

Fury has a bigger Ring IQ than AJ as I see Fury as a real fighter with instinct and AJ as a student. AJ started boxing late and imo doesnt have the skill to adapt on the fly. Hes only good at repeating what he has drilled.

The long punching is absolutely not going to work because Fury and can simply outbox him.

If I'm AJ this is my game plan

Come in heaver than against Ruiz. Maybe 235lbs or so.

You have to be strong enough to push Fury off of you yet not muscle bound enough to move around the ring.

Make it a slow fight. Do not push the pace.

Go to the body. You dont need the KO to win. Land body shots to hopefully take Furys legs away. If he comes in heavy that could be in your favor over the long run.

    That's about it.

If Fury does gas then take your shots but until then do not.

Fury is awkward and it's his rhythm that busts people up. Some people say against Wilder it was the leaning but that's only half the story.

Wilder came in big and Fury coming forward forced him to move. When he moved he was wasting energy especially because that's not his game.

Then the feints forced him to react. Not his game.

The mental aspect wore on him mentally and that sapped his physical strength. Dont beleive me? Strain your mind then try to perform a physical task at your peak.

    That's AJs best shot.

Good thread. Interesting replies. As has already been said by most, I don't really see how AJ can beat Fury. On the inside is AJ's best bet, but Fury's size and skills will be too much for AJ to handle... If I was on AJ's team, I'd recommend they stall as long as possible, whilst publicly saying they want the fight, and try to frustrate Fury mentally. Long drawn-out negotiations, ****** demands, etc. If Fury is on his A-game, AJ has got no chance

That said, with all the time that Fury had out of the ring, one area where AJ does have an advantage is his physical health. AJ has looked after himself, Fury has not. Fury is probably weak to the body. If AJ can get into a war-like frame of mind, step to Fury and get off some bombs to the belly, that would be a good start to the fight for him. Someone above said jabs to the body.. I can't see this working, AJ's jab is not loose enough... he needs to get close and land some vicious hooks to the body, even if it means taking some damage himself
