I also don’t think he saw the towel. He was stopping that fight towel or no towel. And I’m not the only one who questioned if he even saw it...

The point deduction seemed legit. Fury was not heeding the instruction to break. I get that it was part of the strategy to physically maul Wilder, use the 40 pound advantage to rough Wilder up. Bayless let it go on for awhile before he took a point. I think Fury gets that too and so he has no problem with it.
It isn't illegal till the ref says it is.

The referee had warned them both and and said he would start taking points away. No idea why he stated he took a point from Fury with no warning?

As a Wilder fan (and with some money on Wilder), I was hoping Bayless would stop it. Yes, he has power, but his balance was gone and by that point he had nothing on his punches. No need for Deontay to take a even longer sustained beating and possibly suffer permanent damage. He's a warrior and stated that he wanted to go out on his shield, but he's also a dedicated family man and his kids need him around for more than just money. I respect Mark Breland for doing what he knew was right. I hope it doesn't cost him his job.
