Why are people giving excuses for Wilder’s loss?

    I don’t get it.
Wilder got beat up and down the ring and I keep reading on various websites and seeing people commenting that it was something or other and not because Fury outclassed him.
I’m being honest — I thought Wilder would win and said that several times on this site. I thought Fury’s boxing abilities were slightly overrated. I was wrong on all counts and will go on record admitting that. But as a BOXING FAN, that fight felt like HISTORY unfolding before my eyes. I honestly never expected to see such a fearsome man as Wilder get bullied like that, especially by Fury who just doesn’t look like he should be able to fight like that. So why are so many people saying everything except admitting that Fury was a straight up BOSS last night?
