Yes, Wilder had been WBC champion for years .... fighting nothing but cans, old men, and Tyson Fury's shadow in their first fight. He just got exposed for what he is and has always been ... a protected, fake, hype-job and a paper champion.

Mark my words, Wilder will never beat a genuine top 5 HW. He doesn't have it in him.

Wilder's got elite power in that straight back hand but he's a country mile away from being an elite boxer. The fact that he's only won rounds that his power has created a knockdown in has last 3 fights proves this but you no doubt know that his jab is soft, feet are slow, carries his hands way to low with little to no upper body and head movement.

He'll be in a very dark place now as his bubble/myth has burst very publicly, not to mention some substantial physical damage. Not sure he's got the will to get back and rebuild. He's certainly not got the skill to reinvent himself at 35.

He didn't look like he wanted to be there Saturday night, he's made his millions and he knows all future fighters will be confident in carrying our the same plan as Fury. Add these factors to a broken soul and heavy physical damage and he'll be asking himself why bother? Unless he wants to finish on a KO victory fighting another bum.
