Deontay Wilder still has my respect

Ok guys, I think it’s time that we all give props to Wilder for not quitting and taking his beating like a man. He fought the best he could and he lost to the better man, no shame in that. Happens in boxing. I feel like people just love to kick a man while he’s down but he lost to a great fighter and gave him props. It’s not like he lost to a low ranking fighter.

Hopefully he recovers soon. There’s still plenty of good fights for him, just needs to finally go back to basics and make adjustments.

I said pretty much the same thing....... after rewatching the fight today after sobering up, I totally respect Wilder and the fact he kept fighting, looking for the punch.

Many fighters would have folded after taking that beating..... Wilder didn't.... a true champion who fought his heart out.

Respect is good but don’t be one of those morons who thinks a third fight is a good idea.

that wasn't heart. that was cruise control. he was out of it. just his body waiting to shut down. the corner saved him.

Wilder is nothing without Haymon protection and corruption. We saw last night he showed nothing.

I don't get punched in the head to earn a living, so I don't judge people who do.

              Absolutely respect him.

But he was a completely manufactured champion. The myth is now busted wide open.

              No third fight.

I'm sure Wilder feels better about getting dominated now. He has your respect, now he can live happily ever after

The corner needed to stop that. Fury was going to kill him. Going into round 6 I was thinking there is no reason this should continue. Wilder couldn't throw anything and a 19 stone 4lb man was t'ing off on his head.
