I thought that with Fury coming in heavy he would be true to his word in being aggressive and trying to bully Wilder.
If he was going to do this then he would be a bigger much more stationary target giving Wilder the only chance he really had which was to stop Fury.
It could have just taken one flush shot since he almost stopped Fury with the few shots he landed in fight one but last night Fury showed that Wilder has no idea what to do when pressed and is totally inept backing up.
Because of this he was totally unable to find Fury's chin while he was still in the mid range as he was coming in.

But remember the first fight, when Fury got put down in rounds 9 and 12, he fought back, pushes Wilder back and hurt him.
And this was a 50% Fury who just been knocked down.
The extra weight and the extra fitness of Fury made him able to absorb punches better. And backing Wilder up takes his power away too.
Fury won both fights. I understand that Wilder has a rematch clause but there is really no reason for them to fight. Wilder got schooled both times. However, I must admit, Fury has gained a lot of attention in the US and the 3rd fight may be a financial success as well. But I'd rather watch Wilder-Joshua or Fury-Joshua.

There was no way to know the extra weight would help him absorb the shots better or that he wouldn't just get caught coming in and ko'd.
I thought it would have been smarter to come in light and box, good for Fury that is plan worked and he won in dominant fashion.
I cannot comprehend why some of you thought Wilder would win the rematch?
It like you never saw the first fight, all the clues were there.
And with Tyson deciding to look for the KO and and get a Kronk Gym trainer it was only going to end one way.
The fight went exactly the way I thought, it was the only way i could see it going.
So what was your reasoning for thinking Wilder would win?
Fury took his best punches and this was a Fury at 50%, out of shape flabby and ring rusty and he still won 9/10 rounds and even finished the rounds stronger where he got knocked down in.
Was your thinking for Wilder winning?
Was it just he lands a big punch and Fury doesn't beat the count, ignoring everything we know from the first fight?
you are quoting me from a post earlier today, lol.....
I agree!
